GAS PRICES HIT NEW RECORD HIGH

The pain at the gas pump just keeps getting worse.  Triple-A is reporting the average price for regular unleaded gasoline in Wisconsin is up to a new record-high of four dollars and eight cents per gallon, an increase of 12 cents per gallon in the past month.  The cheapest gas, relatively speaking, is in Madison and LaCrosse at 4.01 a gallon, the most expensive area to fill up is Milwakuee at 4.18. By the way, this time last year, the statewide average gas price was 3.07 per gallon and was 3.09 in the Chippewa Valley.
